Music Calendar February: On Sat. Feb 6th, KBXE Spreads the Love at the Backyard BBQ in Bemidji starting at
6:30 with fun and games and music by The
Beerds starting at 8. Also Sat the 6th, there is
benefit for Helen Greene with music by Hippies
and Whiskey and Uncle
Shurley starting at 9pm at Brigid’s Cross Irish Pub in
Bemidji On Thursday, Feb 11th, The Tisdales, The Keep Aways and The DTs are hosting a benefit concert for PJ, a young girl with an auto-immune disease, starting at 10pm. Also on Thursday the 11th,
Greg Klyma will be performing at the New York Mills Regional
Cultural Center starting at 7:30pm. On Friday, Feb 12th, Charlie Parr will be at the E Squared Café in Brainerd starting at
9pm. On Sat. the 13th, Hans Blix and the Weapon Inspectors will be hosting a Valentine’s
Prequal at the E-Squared Café in Brainerd starting at 8pm. Also Sat. the 13th, The Beerds will be playing a Valentines show at the Eagle’s Club
in Bemidji starting
at 8:30. On Fri, Feb 19th, The Eelpout Stringers will be performing at Terrapin Station in
Nevis, starting at 7pm. The weekend of Fr. Feb 19th
through the 21st it’s the Bois
Forte Mid-Winter Powow at the Nett Lake School Gymnasium
with host drum Robert Strong and invited Drums Buffalo Horse, Little Earth and Little Otter. Grand Entries are Sat at 1 and 7 and Sunday at 1 with
feasts to follow. On Sat. Feb 20th, Hands along with Onward to
Olympus, Venia, Blank Page Empire and The Suit will be at
the Ground Floor in Grand Rapids starting at 7pm. On Friday, Feb 26th, Smokestack and the Foothill Fury will be performing at Terrapin
Station in Nevis, starting at 7pm. On Friday, Feb 27th, The Brass Kings will be at the E Squared Café in Brainerd starting
at 9pm March: On Friday and Saturday, March 5th & 6th, it’s the Oji-Cree Round Dance Invitational at Grand Casino Mille Lacs from 6-9p.
