Lakeland Public Television Tapes MN Musicians for Backroads

Sep 28, 2017

Lakeland Public Television revived the program Backroads last year.  Featuring northern Minnesota musicians, the show tapes an array of musical acts in blitz fashion over the course of one week and then becomes individual television segments later in the year.  This week LPTV is taping their upcoming Backroads season at the Rail River Folk School in Bemidji.  John and Heidi spoke with Andrew Dziengel about this season's line up and all that goes into creating television out of a music concert.   Bruce Archer & Jim Olson, Anthony Lamb, Caleigh,  Cage Jambor & Julia Oxenreider, the Midiots, Harper's Chord, Mike Rendahl, and the Fattenin' Frogs are the musicians playing each night this week in Bemidji.  These shows are free and open to the public, so if you are interested, reserve your spot now for one of the remaining shows!
