Leading Lady: Julie Kaiser Talks Zelda Fitzgerald, The Last Flapper

Twinning! Julie Kaiser and Katie Carter

The Last Flapper is a one woman play co-produced by Visions Theatreand Long Lake Theater that retrospects the life of  Zelda Fitzgerald.  Wife of author F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Last Flapper shines a spotlight on Zelda's personal experiences of creative genius, repression and passionate pursuit of life. The setting for the play is a mental institution on the last day of Zelda's life - one cut short by a fire raging thru said institution.  Julie Kaiser stars in the production and stopped by the KBXE studio to talk about it. This weekend is the last of the play's three week run at the Long Lake Theater -just south of Park Rapids. You can catch the production this Friday and Saturday night at 7:30pm or Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm.
