Karen Goulet discusses Indigenous Innovations in the Arts

Karen Goulet is the director of the Miikanan Galleryin Bemidji.  Housed within the Watermark Art Center, the Miikanan is dedicated solely to featuring Indigenous art.  Tonight, Goulet hosts a presentationtitled, "Indigenous Innovations in the Arts"  at the Watermark.   The event is free, begins at 6:30 and everyone is welcome.  She stopped by the KBXE studio to chat about the presentation, the current exhibit  and what gallery visitors can look forward to later this spring and summer.

Katie Carter started at Northern Community Radio in 2008 as Managing Editor of the station's grant-funded, online news experiment Northern Community Internet. She returned for a second stint in 2016-23. She produced Area Voices showcasing the arts, culture, and history stories of northern Minnesota.
