Phenology Report: February 13, 2018

We care deeply about the natural world around us here at KAXE-KBXE.  Each week, our resident phenologist John Latimer's Phenology Report provides a comprehensive look at what's  happening in nature here in northern Minnesota.

Spring is just around the corner in northern Minnesota and in this Phenology Report, John talks about the clues we will soon be seeing that verify warmer weather on its way.  The cheeseburger song of the chickadee, nuthatches calling, woodpeckers drumming and the cardinals singing are all evidence that our weather is soon to change.  Click the linke for the full report.

What are you noticing?  Send us a note via email or leave a voicemail at 218.999.9876.  We'd love to hear about it.

If you love this stuff, you'll dig our KAXE-KBXE Season Watch Page on Facebook.  Check it out!
