KAXE Staff - John Bauer
|
John Bauer first heard
KAXE back in 1976. He was sitting on the
stairs at his girl friend's house and she
had the radio tuned to KAXE and Robin Trower
was playing "Bridge of Sighs". Twenty-nine
years later he started working at KAXE and
if you listen long enough, you'll still hear
Robin Trower.
Along with his wife Janeen, John lives in
the country with two Bassett Hounds Lloyd
and Josie; a cat named Luffa; two horses Ami
and Breeze; a donkey named Jack; a miniature
mule named Jill and a giant pile of horse
crap.
John's hobbies are golfing and coaching
women's basketball at Itasca Community
College. Favorite KAXE memory was picking
John Prine up at the Duluth Airport for a
KAXE concert. They hit the town hard and
drove all the way home to Grand Rapids
laughing and telling stories.
