Ross Williams is the packsacker product of a
"mixed marriage" of Rangers. His father is
from
Chisholm,
his mother from Hibbing. His taste in music
is highly eclectic with an interest in
almost all forms of folk music, including
folk-rock, American blues, jazz and music
from other parts of the world.
He is also the coordinator Northern
Community Radio's online community building
project, Northern Community Internet. He is
married to Marcia Anderson, the director of
the Grand Rapids Area Library, and spends
his leisure time biking, hiking, paddling
and otherwise enjoying the north woods.
He is an advocate for reducing dependence on
the automobile by supporting development
that makes our local communities places
where it is safe and convenient to get
around on foot or by bike. He likes fine
dining, great food and good wine and beer.
