Grant Frashier

Producer

Grant Frashier is an adventurous kind of guy. Not only does he produce the Close to Home segment where he takes us with him to historic sites and local events, he has been a lighthouse keeper in the Apostle Islands and has worked a buffalo roundup in the western Dakota badlands. He's also has a keen sense of good barbeque and beer. Grant can be counted on to bring tasty treats to staff meetings as well as provide one of the most unique laughs you've ever heard. One time? At a class reunion, Grant went unnoticed until an hour and half into it when he started laughing.

Close to Home visits Mr. Ed's Farm near Hibbing for Supper on the Farm an event that wants to connect people with local farmers for an evening of food, learning, music and fun.

Close to Home host Grant Frashier offers his own personal momories of the summer of 1967 - also known as the Summer of Love.
